Thaniyatul Jannath Samira is an English language educator and ELT practitioner with a growing portfolio in teaching who inspires learning through innovation and technology, blending academic rigor with creative teaching methods, curriculum design, research and academic training. She is currently working as a faculty of English Language at the Institute of Skill Development and Continuing Education (ISDCE), State University of Bangladesh. She has above seven years of tutoring experience across various educational levels in Bangladesh-including tertiary and intermediate.
Ms. Samira holds a BA in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Dhaka. Her academic background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of language acquisition, pedagogical methodologies and intercultural communication. In addition to her formal education, she has completed extensive training in areas such as Artificial Intelligence in Language Teaching, Research Writing, and Digital Tools in ELT through institutions including BRAC University, British Council, Coursera, and MuktoPaath.
Her academic interests lie not only in ESP (English for Specific Purposes) but also research, digital pedagogy, and language education policy. She has presented her research work on ESP curriculum design at international conferences and is committed to promoting inclusive and context-responsive English language teaching in Bangladesh.
Ms. Samira is also an active contributor to
extracurricular initiatives. With over five years of experience in graphic
design, she is highly technology-competent. Aligning with the evolving
landscape of information technology, she skillfully integrates digital tools
into her teaching to create a smoother, ethical and more diligent learning
environment. Her experience allows her to develop visually engaging and
contrastive learning materials, making classroom experiences more interactive,
creative and enjoyable for students.
